Social Media Copywriter for a fully remote position working closely with our Dubai-based team.

This role is ideal for a skilled storyteller who can craft compelling scripts for YouTube content and video-first strategies (paid and organic), helping drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.

The Social Media Copywriter will play a crucial role in shaping Equiti Group’s video content strategy, producing engaging scripts that align with the brand’s tone of voice and resonate with our global audience. This position reports directly to the Social Content Manager and will require close collaboration with video editors, social media managers, content creators, designers, animators, Head of Brand, Chief Marketing Officer and other key stakeholders worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality, engaging, and story-driven scripts for YouTube, TikTok, brand videos, and organic content.
  • Craft content that enhances brand storytelling while adhering to SEO best practices for YouTube SERP ranking.
  • Collaborate with social media managers and copywriters to ensure scripts align with ongoing marketing campaigns.
  • Write story-led scripts that drive audience engagement, optimize retention, and encourage brand recall.
  • Research trending topics, audience behaviors, and competitor strategies to enhance content effectiveness.
  • Maintain and uphold Equiti Group’s brand tone of voice, ensuring clarity, consistency, and ethical content.
  • Work alongside designers, animators, and video producers to bring scripts to life in a visually compelling way.
  • Present script concepts and final drafts to the Social Content Manager, Head of Brand, project stakeholders, and CMO.
  • Manage multiple content projects simultaneously, from ideation to final execution.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong creative and storytelling abilities tailored for digital video content.
  • Proven track record of driving YouTube or other video platforms (TikTok, Snapchat) growth through data-driven strategies
  • Excellent understanding of relevant financial YouTube content strategies, video scripting techniques, and audience engagement tactics.
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and how they apply to YouTube content optimization.
  • Ability to write scripts that align with performance marketing strategies for paid YouTube ads.
  • Experience in collaborating with designers, video editors, and marketing teams to produce effective content.
  • High degree of self-motivation and ambition, with a proactive approach to content ideation and execution.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain brand consistency across multiple platforms.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to pitch ideas and articulate creative decisions.
  • Adaptability to fast-paced environments, managing deadlines and multiple projects effectively.

Experience Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in scriptwriting for YouTube, branded video content, or digital storytelling.
  • Experience working across multinational companies, ensuring messaging is effectively translated for global audiences.
  • Strong understanding of localization and accessibility best practices in video content.
  • Experience in developing scripts that align with marketing objectives, brand awareness, and lead generation goals.
  • A portfolio showcasing a range of scripts, including short-form, long-form educational content, and brand storytelling pieces.
  • Expertise with YouTube analytics, performance tracking, and engagement metrics.
