We’re looking for an AV Editor who’s early in their career but already showing strong instincts for storytelling, pacing, and what works on social. You’ll help turn raw footage into engaging, platform-ready content while learning from a collaborative creative team.
This is a hands-on role for someone who’s curious, detail-oriented, and excited to grow in a fast-paced, content-driven environment.
Responsibilities
Edit Social-First Content
Cut short-form video content for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
Support longer-form edits as needed
Execute clean, engaging edits with strong pacing and clear storytelling
Execute Creative Direction
Incorporate basic graphics, captions, music, and sound to enhance content
Follow creative briefs and apply feedback quickly and accurately
Ensure edits align with brand voice and visual standards
Optimize for Platform
Apply best practices for hooks, pacing, captions, and formatting
Stay up to date on trends and evolving editing styles
Version content for different platforms and formats
Own the Details
Maintain organized project files and version control
Proof content for accuracy and quality before delivery
Collaborate & Learn
Work closely with content creators and producers to bring ideas to life
Be open to feedback and eager to improve your craft
Contribute ideas and creative input as you grow in the role
Requirements
1–2 years of video editing experience; vertical video and social-first formats a plus
Proficiency in editing tools (Adobe Premiere Pro required; After Effects a plus)
Strong sense of timing, pacing, and visual storytelling
Familiarity with social platforms and short-form content trends
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple assignments
Positive, collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn
Passion for entertainment, brand, and digital content
Schedule
Flexible, 20 hours per week
Schedule to be determined by Supervisor
Compensation
$30.00 per hour
