Job Description

The Site Supervisor (Joinery Installation) plays a pivotal role in the successful completion of joinery projects. This individual is responsible for overseeing the installation processes on-site, ensuring that all activities align with project plans and safety regulations. With a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of joinery techniques, the Site Supervisor coordinates with contractors, workers, and clients to deliver high-quality results. This position requires excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to make quick decisions, and a strong commitment to upholding craftsmanship standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in joinery installation and the capability to manage timelines, resources, and personnel effectively to meet project goals.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage entire joinery installation processes on allocated sites.
  • Ensure all work is completed according to design specifications and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers to align site activities with project timelines.
  • Implement and enforce strict safety protocols on the construction site.
  • Conduct regular inspections to assess the quality and progress of the installation.
  • Resolve any on-site issues or discrepancies swiftly to avoid project delays.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to address any concerns or updates required.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to site workers and subcontractors daily.
  • Manage site resources, including materials and tools, to optimize efficiency.
  • Prepare detailed site reports documenting progress, challenges, and solutions.
  • Ensure all team members adhere to industry safety standards and regulations.
  • Facilitate the handover process by verifying finished work against project requirements.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in joinery installation and site supervision roles.
  • Must have UAE Driving License 
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings and joinery techniques.
  • Excellent leadership skills with ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
  • Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
  • Good problem-solving abilities to address on-site challenges promptly.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with clients, managers, and workers.
  • Familiarity with occupational health and safety standards in construction.
  • Experience using project management software for tracking site activities.
