The position of a Site Foreman is critical for ensuring that construction projects are completed efficiently, safely, and on schedule. As a Site Foreman, you will oversee the daily operations on construction sites, ensuring that work is done correctly, safely, and according to project specifications. You'll liaise between different parties involved in the construction process, including architects, contractors, and laborers. Your role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to solve problems swiftly. A successful Site Foreman ensures the timely completion of projects while maintaining high safety and quality standards. Responsibilities

• Coordinate work efforts daily to ensure smooth and efficient operations on-site.
• Supervise construction staff and sub-contractors, ensuring they work efficiently and safely.
• Communicate project progress, issues, and directives with project managers and other stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, implementing site safety plans when necessary.
• Inspect construction work regularly to ensure adherence to blueprints and project specifications.
• Provide training and mentoring to junior workers and new hires to increase skill levels.
• Identify and resolve any arising issues or conflicts on the construction site promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of daily visits, progress reports, and site activities for future reference.
• Order, receive, and ensure quality control of construction materials and supplies.
• Lead site meetings to inform staff about plans, schedules, and deadlines.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and planners to create project plans and timelines.
• Monitor compliance with project timelines, identifying delays and implementing corrective measures.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a supervisory or foreman role within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA safety guidelines.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills to coordinate between various teams.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
• Strong leadership capabilities, with a focus on team building and productivity.
• Capability to handle physical work and withstand challenging weather conditions.
