Site Engineer - Mechanical

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Site Engineer – Mechanical to oversee and execute mechanical installation activities at project sites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising site execution, ensuring compliance with drawings and specifications, maintaining quality standards, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project completion.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise installation of mechanical systems including HVAC, piping, plumbing, fire fighting, and utility systems.

Review and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and BOQs.

Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams.

Ensure all mechanical works are executed in compliance with approved drawings, codes, and safety standards.

Monitor project schedules and report progress to management.

Conduct site inspections and quality checks.

Prepare daily/weekly progress reports.

Manage material inspections and verify delivered materials against specifications.

Identify and resolve technical issues at site.

Ensure compliance with HSE policies and procedures.

Support testing & commissioning activities.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

3–7 years of relevant site experience in mechanical execution.

Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and construction practices.
