The Site Engineer - Mechanical is responsible for overseeing and managing the mechanical engineering aspects of construction projects. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems and components at project sites. The Site Engineer will be tasked with ensuring that all mechanical systems comply with technical specifications and safety standards. Responsibilities

• Oversee the installation and maintenance of mechanical systems in construction projects.
• Collaborate with project managers and design teams to ensure project objectives are met.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and technical standards.
• Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors for timely completion of mechanical work.
• Prepare detailed project reports and documentations for ongoing and completed work.
• Assist in the procurement process by providing specifications for mechanical components.

• Ensure that all installations are completed within budget and on schedule.
• Maintain effective communication with stakeholders regarding project progress and challenges.
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers and site staff as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field required.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a mechanical engineering role within construction.
• Proven experience in managing mechanical projects from inception to completion.
• Strong understanding of industry standards and safety regulations for construction sites.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Proficiency in software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other engineering applications.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with team members and contractors.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
• Willingness to travel to various project sites as required.
