Site Engineer – Electrical

Position Overview

We are looking for a proactive and technically competent Site Engineer – Electrical to manage and supervise electrical installation and execution activities at project sites. The role involves ensuring that electrical systems are installed as per approved drawings, technical specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise Installation Of Electrical Systems Including

Power distribution systems (LV/MV panels)

Cable laying and termination

Lighting systems

Earthing and lightning protection systems

Fire alarm and ELV systems (as applicable)

Review electrical drawings, load schedules, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and BOQs.

Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and MEP teams to ensure smooth site execution.

Ensure compliance with project specifications, electrical codes, and safety regulations.

Conduct inspections and quality checks during installation.

Monitor project progress and report to the Project Manager.

Manage material approvals, inspections, and reconciliation.

Support testing & commissioning of electrical systems.

Troubleshoot and resolve site-level technical issues.

Ensure strict adherence to HSE policies.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.

3–7 years of relevant experience in electrical site execution.

Strong knowledge of electrical systems and construction practices.

Familiarity with international standards such as International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).

Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.

Ability to interpret electrical drawings and schematics.

Strong coordination and communication skills.

Willingness to work at project sites.
