Job Description

The Showroom Sales Executive for Building Materials/Architectural Products will play a crucial role in driving sales and achieving targets by engaging with potential customers and promoting a wide range of building and architectural products. The role involves welcoming clients into the showroom, understanding their needs, and presenting them with suitable products and solutions. Expertise in building materials and architectural products, coupled with an ability to deliver excellent customer service, is essential. The executive will work closely with the sales team to develop strategies and improve sales methodologies. The successful candidate should possess a passion for sales, a keen eye for design, and the skills to cultivate lasting relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.


Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers visiting the showroom and address their queries effectively.
  • Maintain an exemplary display of products to attract and inform customers.
  • Promote available products and assist customers in making suitable selections.
  • Identify and understand customers' needs and provide expert product advice.
  • Facilitate smooth sales transactions and manage necessary administrative tasks.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to enhance strategies and boost sales performance.
  • Gather and utilize customer feedback to improve product offerings and services.
  • Keep updated with current trends in architectural products and building materials.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Provide follow-up support to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Contribute to team meetings by sharing insights and suggestions for improvement.
  • Ensure the showroom environment is welcoming, organized, and well-stocked at all times.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in architectural products or building materials.
  • Strong understanding of showroom operations and customer engagement techniques.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Ability to quickly grasp product knowledge and relay it to customers effectively.
  • Proficient in basic computer applications and customer relationship management software.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle objections professionally.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets consistently.
