Shopify E-Commerce Operations Specialist

Job Overview

Our client is seeking an E-Commerce Assistant to manage, maintain, and optimize multiple Shopify stores that are currently built but not generating revenue. This role will focus on making the e-commerce operations profitable and self-sustaining through effective product management, store optimization, and sales generation. The ideal candidate will work independently to transform existing Shopify infrastructure into revenue-generating assets while the business owners focus on brand development and marketing initiatives.

Client Overview

The client operates a holding company managing a diverse portfolio of brands including multiple Shopify-based e-commerce stores in the health, wellness, and fitness industries. The company is seeking to optimize their existing Shopify infrastructure and generate revenue from established online stores while the founders focus on brand building and digital product development.

Schedule

• Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM EST (20 hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Store Management: Manage and maintain multiple active Shopify stores including product listings, inventory, and order fulfillment.
• Optimization & Troubleshooting: Optimize existing Shopify store configurations and troubleshoot current operational issues with dropshipping integrations.
• Transaction Management: Monitor and manage customer orders, addresses, and general e-commerce transactions.
• Revenue Strategy: Implement strategies to generate income and improve store performance metrics.
• Dropshipping Coordination: Coordinate with dropshipping platforms, including CJ Dropshipping, to ensure product delivery and quality control.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct test purchases and quality assurance checks to verify product fulfillment processes.
• Process Automation: Identify and implement process automation opportunities for repetitive tasks, including email management.
• Reporting: Provide regular updates on store performance, revenue generation, and optimization recommendations.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of hands-on experience managing Shopify e-commerce stores.
• Proven experience with dropshipping platforms and integrations.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce operations including product listings, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
• Ability to work independently and drive profitability for established stores.

Qualifications

• Experience with CJ Dropshipping or AutoDS platforms is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of e-commerce automation tools and email marketing systems.
• Experience generating revenue for underperforming or newly launched online stores.
• Familiarity with GoDaddy domain management and landing page optimization.
