The successful candidate will serve as a key partner in delivering technical sales solutions and after-sales services that meet customer needs within the elevator and escalator industry.

Role Summary:

In the role of Service Sales Engineer, you will combine technical expertise with sales acumen to support customers throughout the service lifecycle. You will act as a trusted advisor, understanding complex technical requirements and proposing tailored maintenance and modernization solutions that enhance performance, safety, and reliability of vertical transportation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, acting as the primary technical sales contact for service offerings.
• Conduct detailed assessments of clients’ elevator and escalator systems to identify service needs and recommend appropriate maintenance, repair, or modernization solutions.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and service teams to design and deliver customized proposals that meet contractual and technical requirements.
• Prepare and present comprehensive technical and commercial proposals, ensuring clear communication of value propositions and solution benefits.
• Support contract negotiations and contribute to the finalization of service agreements by providing accurate technical information and clarifications.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
• Participate in trade shows, workshops, and training sessions to stay informed of industry advancements and improve service knowledge.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and legal requirements throughout all sales and service activities.
  
  

Qualifications and Skills:

• A degree or diploma in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in technical sales or service engineering, preferably within the elevator, escalator, or related industries.
• Strong understanding of elevator and escalator systems, components, and maintenance procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external clients.
• Proficiency in preparing detailed technical reports and commercial proposals.
• Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering value and building long-term partnerships.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively within deadlines.
