Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for our range of products and services. As a Service Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance of our equipment and maintaining customer satisfaction. You must be willing to travel frequently as part of your job to attend to customer site installations and service equipment on-site. Your expertise in understanding technical specifications and the ability to provide effective solutions will be crucial to your success in this role. You should be someone who can work independently or as part of a team, have a proactive approach to problem solving, and possess excellent communication skills.


Responsibilities

  • Perform installation, commissioning, and servicing of equipment at client sites.
  • Conduct regular preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively on-site.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Provide detailed feedback to improve service processes and product performance.
  • Focus on enhancing customer satisfaction through high-quality service delivery.
  • Document all service and installation actions according to established procedures.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements in service engineering.
  • Train end-users on proper operation and maintenance of the equipment.
  • Manage and update service schedules and reports accurately and timely.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standard operating procedures.
  • Provide technical support and guidance over the phone or via digital platforms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronics, or relevant technical field required.
  • Proven experience as a Service Engineer, or in a similar technical role.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are essential.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across different locations for service requirements.
  • Exceptional communication skills to interact with clients and internal teams.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools and standard office software applications.
