Job Description

As a Service Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact for customers requiring automotive services or repairs. Your responsibilities will include greeting customers, assessing their needs, and recommending appropriate services based on vehicle issues. You will schedule service appointments, provide cost estimates, and keep customers informed about the status of their vehicles. In addition, you will be responsible for upselling additional services or maintenance packages to maximize customer satisfaction and revenue. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential for this role, as you will be interacting with customers, technicians, and other team members on a daily basis. Prior experience in the automotive industry and knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices are preferred.   • Greet customers and assist them with scheduling service appointments for their vehicles.
  • Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues.
  • Generate service orders and provide cost estimates to customers.
  • Communicate vehicle diagnosis, recommended repairs, and maintenance services to customers.
  • Coordinate with the service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs and service jobs.
  • Inform customers of any additional work required on their vehicles and obtain necessary approvals.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure their satisfaction with the service provided.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation of all customer interactions.
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, service procedures, and warranty information to provide accurate information to customers.


  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in customer service or a related field preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and software applications.
