Job Description

The Service Advisor is a critical liaison between the customer and the service technicians. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless and satisfactory experience for customers who need vehicle repairs or maintenance. As a Service Advisor, you will listen to customer concerns, diagnose their needs, and ensure that their vehicles are repaired as requested in a timely manner. You will also be responsible for estimating costs, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining clear communication throughout the repair process. Your main objective will be to achieve customer satisfaction and repeat business by ensuring transparent, efficient, and high-quality service delivery.


Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and ensure they have a positive experience.
  • Listen and document customer concerns regarding vehicle problems and service requests.
  • Conduct vehicle inspections in collaboration with the customer and service team.
  • Provide clear repair and maintenance recommendations to customers.
  • Develop detailed and accurate cost estimates for vehicle repairs and maintenance.
  • Coordinate service appointments with customers and the maintenance team.
  • Ensure timely communication and updates throughout the repair process.
  • Verify that service work is completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints, resolving issues promptly.
  • Maintain records of all service transactions and customer interactions.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with repeat business customers.
  • Ensure compliance with all company and industry safety standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer service role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to handle diverse customers.
  • Technical knowledge about vehicles and common repair practices required.
  • Ability to effectively estimate cost and time for automotive services.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to effectively address customer concerns.
  • High level of professionalism and reliability in all interactions.
