Job Description

An SEO Specialist is a key player in enhancing our company's digital presence and driving organic traffic to our websites. This role involves developing and executing strategies to improve search engine rankings, increase online visibility, and boost website traffic. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SEO practices and a proven track record of success in the field. They should be up to date with the latest industry trends, search engine algorithms, and be able to implement strategies that follow the best practices. Strong analytical skills, knowledge of SEO tools, and an ability to work closely with content creators and web developers are essential. The SEO Specialist will collaborate with marketing, content, and web development teams to ensure that all aspects of SEO are aligned with the business goals.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to increase organic traffic.
  • Monitor and analyze website performance with SEO tools like Google Analytics.
  • Conduct keyword research to guide content teams and increase site visibility.
  • Optimize website content, including blogs, product pages, and landing pages for SEO.
  • Collaborate with web developers to ensure proper website architecture and HTML coding.
  • Stay updated with the latest SEO trends and search engine algorithm changes.
  • Identify technical SEO issues and recommend solutions for improvement.
  • Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization for SEO-friendly content.
  • Analyze competitors and industry trends to improve SEO strategies and tactics.
  • Provide reports and insights on website traffic, rankings, and SEO performance.
  • Work with marketing teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into campaigns.
  • Coordinate with PR and content marketing teams for link-building opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or in a similar digital marketing role.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO practices and experience with SEO tools like SEMrush.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and other basic web development languages is a plus.
  • Excellent understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with Google Analytics and other web analysis tools.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with various teams.
