An SEO (Search Engine Optimization) Lead plays a crucial role in managing and optimizing a company's online presence. As the team leader, the SEO Lead develops and executes effective strategies to improve search engine rankings, increase website traffic, and ultimately maximize return on investment. They work closely with other digital marketing teams to align on goals and strategies, enhancing the company’s visibility and engagement with targeted audiences. With a deep understanding of search engine algorithms and best practices, the SEO Lead is responsible for analyzing data, identifying trends, and making recommendations for improving the performance of the company's web properties. Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills are essential for someone in this position to successfully drive impactful SEO initiatives.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings.
  • Conduct keyword research and analysis to discover relevant opportunities and trends.
  • Collaborate with content creators to optimize content for SEO and user engagement.
  • Monitor and analyze website analytics and performance metrics on a regular basis.
  • Stay updated on the latest SEO trends and algorithm updates to ensure compliance.
  • Lead a team of SEO specialists and provide guidance and mentorship as needed.
  • Coordinate with web developers to ensure technical SEO best practices are implemented.
  • Create and deliver reports on SEO performance, progress, and recommended improvements.

  • Oversee and manage the SEO budget effectively, ensuring cost-efficient practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in SEO or related digital marketing roles.
  • Proven track record of successful SEO campaigns and improved search engine rankings.
  • Strong understanding of current SEO tools and techniques, including keyword research tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills for data-driven insights.
  • Effective communication skills to convey complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
