An SEO Executive plays a pivotal role in enhancing the online visibility and searchability of a company's web presence. As an expert in search engine optimization techniques, the SEO Executive is responsible for analyzing, reviewing, and implementing changes to websites so they are optimized for search engines. This role requires not only technical SEO expertise but also an understanding of marketing, content writing, and web analytics. The ideal candidate should be able to identify and execute potential opportunities to improve site structure, keyword selection, and other factors that can help improve search engine ranking, drive traffic, and increase conversions. In addition, staying up to date with the latest trends, algorithm changes, and the overall SEO landscape is essential to maintaining and improving a brand’s online reputation and performance.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective SEO strategies including keyword optimization and content creation.
  • Conduct thorough keyword research and analysis to drive organic traffic growth.
  • Monitor and report on monthly SEO performance using advanced analytics tools.
  • Optimize website content, landing pages, and paid search copy for better search engine placement.
  • Collaborate with web developers and content teams to implement technical and non-technical SEO improvements.
  • Analyze competitor SEO tactics and develop strategies to outperform them.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, algorithm updates, and best practices in SEO.
  • Provide recommendations and execute strategies for content development in alignment with SEO goals.
  • Manage technical SEO aspects such as site architecture, URL structures, and redirects.
  • Oversee link-building initiatives to improve web authority and search engine ranking.
  • Utilize tools such as Google Analytics and Search Console to track SEO performance.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive reports on SEO progress and activity insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in SEO, digital marketing, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methodologies.
  • Experience with SEO tools like Moz, AHREFs, SEMrush, and Google Analytics.
  • Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills for clear and concise reporting and presentations.
