Job Description

An SEO Analyst is a critical role within any marketing department, tasked with maximizing the volume of traffic from search engines to a company's website through both onsite and offsite strategies. This position requires a combination of technical knowledge, creativity, and analytical skills to increase site rankings, drive user engagement, and improve conversion rates. An SEO Analyst will work closely with content creators, developers, and marketing teams to develop strategies and implement best practices to ensure search engines can easily crawl and index site pages. Additionally, they analyze site performance data to recommend improvements, track algorithm updates, and adapt strategies accordingly. A successful SEO Analyst stays up-to-date with the latest trends and updates in search engine algorithms to maintain the site's competitiveness.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct keyword research to guide content teams and optimize web pages.
  • Develop and implement link-building strategies to enhance website authority.
  • Monitor and report on website ranking performance and traffic metrics.
  • Identify SEO issues and recommend detailed solutions for improvement.
  • Optimize website content, including metadata, headings, and URLs for search engines.
  • Coordinate with web developers for SEO-friendly website enhancements.
  • Stay updated with the latest search engine optimization trends and Google updates.
  • Analyze competitor websites and strategies to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Use specialized SEO tools to analyze site performance and track campaign success.
  • Create comprehensive and insightful reports for management regarding SEO performance.
  • Collaborate with content creators to ensure SEO best practices are consistently applied.
  • Enhance local SEO strategies by optimizing Google My Business and local listings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an SEO Analyst or similar digital marketing role.
  • Solid understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods.
  • Experience with SEO tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Moz.
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting data and deriving actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication skills for collaborating with various stakeholders.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM.
