Senior Wordpress Developer

Role: Senior WordPress Developer (5+ Years Experience – Full Website Build & Launch)

Location: Dubai, UAE

Job Type: Full-time, Night Shift (aligned with Los Angeles working hours)

We are looking for a Senior WordPress Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience to design, build, optimize, and fully launch a professional WordPress website. This role requires end-to-end ownership of the website, not just theme installation.

You must have proven experience delivering production-ready, secure, fast, and SEO-optimized WordPress websites.

Responsibilities:

• Build and launch complete WordPress websites from start to finish
• Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins
• Ensure full mobile and cross-browser compatibility
• Optimize site speed, performance, and Core Web Vitals
• Implement on-page SEO best practices
• Configure security, backups, and caching
• Handle domain, hosting, DNS, and SSL setup
• Set up contact forms, integrations, and tracking tools
• Test, deploy, and launch websites to production
• Provide documentation and post-launch support

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of professional WordPress development experience (required)
• Deep understanding of WordPress core, hooks, and custom post types
• Strong skills in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with custom theme development
• Proficiency with Elementor and/or Gutenberg
• Strong SEO knowledge (Yoast, RankMath, etc.)
• Proven performance optimization experience
• Strong understanding of WordPress security best practices
• Experience managing hosting environments and DNS

Nice to Have (Bonus):

• Google Analytics & Search Console setup
• CRM and third-party API integrations
• Payment gateway experience (Stripe, PayPal)
• Multilingual WordPress experience
• Ongoing maintenance availability

Requirements:

• Live portfolio of WordPress websites built and launched
• Ability to meet deadlines and communicate clearly
• Ability to work independently
• Experience with real production websites (no demo-only experience)

Ability to work night shift aligned with U.S. (Los Angeles) operations.
