Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble raw footage into a cohesive story that meets project goals.

• Utilize advanced editing techniques to enhance footage with effects and color grading.
• Manage and organize project files to ensure workflow efficiency and accessibility.
• Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list for editing.
• Supervise and mentor junior video editors and provide constructive feedback.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest video editing technologies and industry trends.
• Incorporate audio adjustments to ensure superior sound quality and continuity.
• Coordinate with the marketing team for brand consistency in all video content.
• Conduct revisions and edits based on client feedback or evolving project needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Videography, or related field strongly preferred.
• At least five years of proven experience in video editing or a similar role.
• In-depth expertise with video editing software like Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro.
• Strong understanding of digital post-production processes and video file formats.
• Excellent attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills required.
• Demonstrated ability to work under tight deadlines with multiple projects simultaneously.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with teams.
• Proficient in motion graphics and animation software such as After Effects is a plus.
• Experience in leading and mentoring junior staff in professional settings.
