The Senior Technician, Mechanical Maintenance plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning and maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment within an organization. Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of mechanical systems to ensure their optimal function.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in mechanical machinery and systems accurately and efficiently.
• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance tasks on various industrial machines and systems.
• Lead and mentor a team of junior technicians, providing guidance and training as necessary.
• Document and log all maintenance activities for compliance and reference purposes.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure minimal disruption to production during repairs.
• Maintain an inventory of spare parts and tools to ensure readiness for any mechanical breakdowns.
• Improve existing maintenance processes to enhance system efficiency and safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations while executing tasks.
• Assist in the planning and implementation of new mechanical installations and upgrades.
• Identify and report any mechanical deficiencies to the management for prompt resolution.
• Provide technical support and assistance during equipment installation and commissioning phases.

Requirements

• A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certification in Mechanical Maintenance or a related technical field is preferred.
• At least five years of experience in mechanical maintenance or a similar role.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals and blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members and management.
