Senior Technician - Maintenance

Job Description

• Responsible to perform scheduled maintenance tasks on elevators, escalators, and other vertical transport systems to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
• Conduct thorough inspections of elevator systems, identify faults, wear and tear, and provide solutions for improvements.
• Perform necessary repairs, replacements, or modifications to restore equipment or systems to optimal operating condition.
• Trouble shooting of Elevators and Escalators in major brands such as Kone, Schindler, TKE and Otis.
• Manage third-Party Inspections, assistance and suggests rectification.
• Provide excellent customer service, including responding to client queries and informing them of maintenance progress or system status.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of service activities, repairs, and inspections. Complete necessary reports and communicate progress to relevant teams.
• Work closely with other technicians and departments to ensure effective maintenance planning and response to any issues.
• Ensure reports include photos, serial numbers, readings, and customer signatures.
• Provide preventative maintenance services as needed during callback visits to prevent future issues.
• Explore opportunities of repair works during maintenance, there by generating repair/modification leads and follow up with the Sales Team for quote submission.
• Be accessible for on-call duty, which may include responding to service requests during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Support Supervisors and Engineers to achieve the common goals.
