On schedule to open in the United Arab Emirates in Spring 2027, Wynn Al Marjan Island has been created as an opulent and entertaining beachside destination for discerning guests to play and relax. Located less than 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, this integrated resort offering 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theatre, nightclub, and five-star spa is currently under construction on a picturesque island that gracefully curves into the Arabian Gulf.

About The Position

Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Senior Technician – HVAC to join the resort’s Wynn Oasis team.

Responsibilities

The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:

• Perform installation, servicing, and repair of HVAC systems including FCUs, AHUs, chillers, split units, exhaust fans, and refrigeration systems.
• Execute planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules in accordance with OEM and facility standards.
• Respond to complaints and breakdown calls promptly, ensuring accurate diagnosis and resolution of HVAC faults.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control-related issues in HVAC components such as compressors, motors, sensors, valves, and thermostats.
• Monitor and calibrate system controls to maintain desired temperature, humidity, and air quality levels.
• Maintain accurate service records, job cards, and compliance documentation.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, riser diagrams, and schematics to support installations and repairs.
• Coordinate with other departments (e.g., housekeeping, security, facilities) to ensure minimal disruption during service activities.
• Work closely with other trades (electrical, plumbing, civil) to complete multi-disciplinary tasks efficiently.
• Assist senior technicians and supervisors in inventory management, stock audits, and spare parts requisition.
• Ensure adequate spare stock levels are maintained for critical HVAC components.
• Adhere to safety protocols, permit-to-work systems, and UAE building codes.
• Support energy-saving initiatives and recommend system upgrades or optimizations.
• Participate in emergency response and after-hours callouts as required.
  
  

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in HVAC systems is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of HVAC components, control systems, and energy efficiency principles.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and riser diagrams.
• Proficient in using tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Team-oriented with the ability to coordinate across departments and trades.
• Physically fit to perform manual tasks in varied environmental conditions.
