We're recruiting a Senior Tailor & Pattern Maker – Corsetry and Couture on behalf of a renowned luxury fashion brand based in Dubai.


About Our Client

Our client is a prestigious luxury couture fashion house based in Dubai, specializing in bespoke evening wear, bridal couture, corsetry, and handcrafted luxury garments. Renowned for exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail, the brand creates exclusive, high-end pieces for a discerning clientele.


Key Responsibilities

• Develop patterns from sketches, design concepts, and reference images.
  
• Create and refine patterns for corsets, bustiers, structured bodices, gowns, and couture garments.
  
• Perform draping, pattern modifications, grading, and technical adjustments.
  
• Construct prototypes, samples, and bespoke garments.
  
• Execute advanced tailoring and couture sewing techniques.
  
• Participate in fittings and implement necessary garment and pattern alterations.
  
• Analyze fit issues and provide technical construction solutions.
  
• Apply traditional and modern corsetry construction methods.
  
• Work with luxury fabrics, embellishments, and hand-finishing techniques.
  
• Ensure garments meet luxury quality and couture craftsmanship standards.
  
• Maintain pattern archives, technical notes, and garment documentation.
  
• Collaborate closely with design and atelier teams throughout the development process.
  
  
  

• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in couture, bridal wear, evening wear, luxury fashion, tailoring, or pattern making.
  
• Proven experience in corsetry and structured garment construction.
  
• Strong expertise in pattern making, garment construction, fittings, and alterations.
  
• Ability to create patterns directly from sketches and design concepts.
  
• Strong understanding of garment balance, silhouette development, and body shaping.
  
• Experience working with luxury fabrics, embellishments, and couture finishing techniques.
  
• Ability to work independently and efficiently within a fast-paced atelier environment.
  
• Portfolio showcasing relevant couture, bridal, evening wear, or corsetry work is preferred.
