The Project

Mace are providing PMC services for this high-profile, mixed-use development designed to integrate residential, commercial, retail, and leisure components in Dubai.

You’ll Be Responsible For

• Lead the development of the sustainability framework and roadmap for the master plan including assets aligned with international best practice, local regulations, and the development ESG vision, Dubai’s 2040 plan and UAE’s 2050 net-zero ambition.
• Responsible for engaging with project consultants and contractor to integrate sustainability objectives into master planning, assets, architectural design, mobility, and infrastructure strategies.
• Lead the coordination of environmental, energy, water, waste, and wellbeing strategies to ensure integrated sustainability outcomes.
• Oversee sustainability performance benchmarking and certification pathways such as LEED for Communities, WELL Community, or equivalent local standards.
• Identify key performance indicators and establish data-driven monitoring and reporting systems for sustainability performance.
• Collaborate closely with master planners, architects, infrastructure, design consultants and contractors to embed sustainability principles throughout the life cycle of the development.
• Provide technical leadership on carbon, circularity, biodiversity, and resilience strategies at both project and district scale.
• Manages and mentors teams, fostering professional growth in a supportive environment.
• Drives carbon reduction efforts and shares sector insights to support net zero goals.
  
  

You’ll Need To Have

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, Architecture, Urban Planning, or a related discipline.
• Experience in sustainability management, with proven delivery of frameworks and implementation on large-scale master planning or mixed-use developments.
• Demonstrated experience with urban sustainability certifications and carbon reduction strategies.
• Strong understanding of UAE sustainability policies and frameworks, including Dubai Municipality, Estidama, and RSB initiatives.
• Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and engage with senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, analytical and leadership skills.
• Suitable professional membership/s (i.e. IEMA, ICRS, CIEMA, ICE, RICS).
• LEED AP, and/or Estidama PQP, and/or Certified Energy Manager.
• Relevant Tertiary Qualification (Post Graduate Degree, Etc) (or equivalent).
