ABL Group is seeking a Senior Surveyor (Energy) to join our growing team in Dubai. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced marine professional to contribute to high-profile offshore projects and support the continued success of our Energy business line.

Key Responsibilities

• Marine surveys: vessel suitability, condition, and marine warranty (towage, load-in/load-out, stowage, lashing, securing).
• Operational support: attend rig moves, marine assurance, and offshore operations.
• Documentation: prepare tenders, proposals, and deliver accurate reports.
• Client engagement: liaise with clients to ensure smooth project execution.
• Coordination: oversee contractors and manage project documentation.
• Business development: promote ABL Group’s consulting services and contribute to marketing initiatives.
• QHSE compliance: uphold quality, health, safety, and environmental standards.
  
  

Essential

Qualifications & Experience

• Master Mariner or Chief Officer (STCW II/2).
• 5+ years’ marine/offshore industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of industry codes and standards.
• Excellent analytical, operational, and communication skills.
• Flexibility to travel offshore and work across time zones.
  
  

Desirable

• Shore-based marine operations experience.
• Familiarity with rig moves and jack-up operations.
• Experience in marine warranty surveys, vessel inspections, and audits.
