Senior Specification Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Specification Engineer to champion the specification of Fosroc systems and solutions within major UAE projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to develop and maintain strategic relationships with consultants, architects, and key clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the specification of Fosroc construction chemical solutions into major UAE projects by working with consultants, architects, engineers, and clients.
• Ensure Fosroc systems are favorably positioned in project specifications while meeting all technical, commercial, and regulatory requirements in the UAE market.
• Identify, generate, and follow project leads to secure Fosroc product specifications across key sectors.
• Provide specification and technical support to the internal sales team for ongoing tenders and awarded projects.
• Analyze incoming project data to identify new opportunities and develop strategies for early specification involvement.
• Offer technical recommendations, system proposals, and explanatory drawings to consultants and clients.
• Maintain strong coordination with internal departments to ensure specification accuracy, compliance, and timely submission.
• Ensure the specification comply with industry standards, codes, and project requirements.
• Work closely with project managers, architects, consultants, and contractors through project life cycle
• Always updated with the market dynamics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or architecture graduate.
• 5–7+ years of experience in specification engineering, construction chemicals, or technical sales within the UAE/GCC.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction standards, approvals processes, and consultant workflows.
• Ability to understand project drawings, BOQs, and propose suitable Fosroc systems.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
• AutoCAD knowledge is a plus
• UAE driving license is required.
