The Senior Specialist, Taxation, is a pivotal role designed for seasoned professionals with deep knowledge and experience in the field of taxation. Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the organization's tax compliance across all relevant jurisdictions.
  • Provide strategic advice on tax planning to optimize the company's tax position.
  • Conduct detailed reviews and analyses of tax returns and supporting documentation.
  • Develop and implement tax policies and practices according to current legislation.
  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of all corporate tax returns and reports.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax legislation that affect the company’s tax obligations.
  • Coordinate tax audits and liaise with external auditors and tax authorities.
  • Lead the development of strategies for minimizing the global tax burden.
  • Collaborate with finance and accounting teams for accurate tax forecasting and reporting.
  • Provide training and support to internal teams on tax-related matters and policies.
  • Participate in due diligence review and analysis of potential mergers and acquisitions.
  • Manage and mentor junior tax staff to support their development and growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • Professional certification such as CPA or equivalent is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years experience in taxation, preferably within a corporate environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of local, state, and federal tax laws and regulations.
  • Proven track record of successful tax planning and strategy implementation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective stakeholder engagement.
