Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Responsible for strategic purchasing tasks, including commodity sourcing, demand management, and supply market analysis.
• Manage supplier-related activities such as supplier phase-in, evaluation, strategy development, consequence management and phase-out.
• Handle tactical purchasing tasks, including demand specification, RfI/RfQ processes, negotiation, contracting, and contract management.
• Perform operational purchasing tasks such as processing purchase requisitions and purchase orders via defined channels, order confirmation, delivery receipt, invoice verification, and claim management.
• Create and integrate processes across internal functions (divisions, operations, supply chain, quality, business continuity) and external suppliers.
  
  

Your Profile

Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed

• Degree/Master’s in Business Administration (BA), Economics, or Engineering with good BA knowledge and experience.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in purchasing, business administration, or planning within a manufacturing environment.
• Good knowledge of purchasing, business administration, and planning processes, tools and methods.
• Good interpersonal and negotiation skills are a prerequisite.
• Experience in order processing, delivery follow-up, vendor portfolio management, payment terms and Incoterms
• Experience in new product and supplier sourcing, alternate sourcing, and change management.
• Knowledge of supplier qualification, supplier evaluation, supplier audits, and vendor performance reviews.
• Experience in contract creation, alignment, maintenance, and obsolescence management.
• Knowledge of inventory management, consignment approach, STL, and JIT.
• Familiar with purchasing tools and systems such as SAP MM, SES, SIM, Softcon, SAP DMS, supplier strategy, and negotiation techniques.
