Senior Specialist Consultant - Emergency Medicine- Government Facility

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, stabilize, and manage patients presenting with acute illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies.
• Provide timely emergency interventions, resuscitation, and initial critical care when required.
• Manage trauma cases, cardiac emergencies, respiratory distress, stroke presentations, and other acute conditions within the scope of expertise.
• Prioritize patients according to clinical urgency and established triage protocols.
• Coordinate with intensive care, surgery, radiology, and other departments to ensure appropriate patient management.
• Perform emergency procedures in accordance with qualifications, training, and clinical privileges.
• Maintain accurate medical records and follow evidence-based emergency care protocols.
• Support patient safety, clinical governance, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.

• Recognized postgraduate qualifications in Emergency Medicine, appropriate to the applied professional title.
• Relevant specialist or consultant-level clinical experience in emergency medicine.
• Valid medical license or professional registration, as applicable.
• Demonstrated experience in emergency assessment, resuscitation, and acute patient management.
• Strong clinical decision-making, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced emergency department.
• Eligibility to meet the applicable UAE healthcare licensing requirements.
• Candidates holding UK CCT, Western qualifications, American Board, Australian Board, or German Board credentials are encouraged to apply.
