Responsibilities

• Develop and execute detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs to resolution.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Review specifications and technical design documents to ensure timely and meaningful feedback.
• Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open-source tools.
• Identify quality assurance process bottlenecks and suggest actions for improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
• Monitor debugging process results throughout all stages of development.
• Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions.
• Implement and configure automated testing systems and related software.
• Ensure that appropriate testing methods are utilized and revising tests as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven work experience in software quality assurance or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing techniques.
• Proficient in automated testing tools and scripting skills for automation.
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Critical thinker with excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
