2. About the Opportunity:
The Senior Software Engineer will work closely with financial services clients in capital markets to design and deliver cloud-based software solutions. This role is part of a cross-functional team that includes software engineers, data scientists, program managers, and designers, aiming to create impactful and innovative products. The position contributes by developing code alongside customers and partners, solving significant business problems, and advancing open-source projects that support scalable cloud platforms.
3. Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with stakeholders to determine user requirements for scenarios
• Identify dependencies and develop design documents for products, applications, services, or platforms
• Write, optimize, debug, refactor, and reuse code to improve performance, maintainability, and ROI
• Use product expertise to support project and release planning with relevant stakeholders
• Serve as a Designated Responsible Individual, guiding engineers, monitoring system status, and initiating restoration actions as needed
• Continuously learn and apply new technical solutions to enhance product availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance
• Uphold the organization’s culture and values
4. Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field with 4+ years of engineering experience coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience
• Experience complying with insider trading rules and information-barrier requirements relevant to investment banking customers
• Preferred: Master’s Degree with 6+ years of relevant experience, or Bachelor’s Degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• Typical base pay range in the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year
• For San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year
