You will lead the technical advancement of our offerings, ensuring they remain scalable, maintainable, and resilient over the long haul. Working in close partnership with product teams, you will convert broad requirements into concrete technical design decisions and address intricate challenges while upholding rigorous quality benchmarks. Your contributions will define the products trajectory and affect how thousands of learners engage and develop.

What You Will Be Doing

• Feature Development: Architecting and building new capabilities with a focus on scalability, maintainability, and lasting product value.
• Requirement Engineering: Partnering with the product team to clarify requirements and spearheading technical conversations to ensure features support product objectives.
• Operations and Maintenance: Overseeing product stability, optimizing performance, and proactively detecting and addressing potential issues.
• Technical Design: Making high-stakes technical choices that directly influence user experience and product scalability.

Basic Requirements

Senior Software Engineer key responsibilities

• At least 1 year of full-stack development experience, working on front and backend features.
• At least 2 years as the primary technical contributor for a SaaS product, driving strategic technical decisions.
• At least 4 years of experience working on actual SaaS products, not outsourcing or internal IT projects.

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
