About The Position

Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Senior Show Mechanical Technician - Performance Lake join the resort’s Performance Lake team.

Responsibilities

The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:

• Operate and maintain mechanical systems and equipment used in live shows, including lifts, turntables, and special effects.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime during performances.
• Collaborate with show directors, stage managers, and other technicians to coordinate technical requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards in all technical operations.
• Participate in rehearsals and technical run-throughs to support show readiness.
• Assist in the setup and teardown of mechanical systems for special events and performances.
• Diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in a live entertainment or theatrical environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  
  

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in a live entertainment or theatrical environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
