This is a full time, permanent position. Working a 39 hour weeks flexibly Monday – Friday, adhering to core hours of Monday – Thursday 10:00 – 15:00 & Friday 09:00 – 14:00.

As a Senior Sample Management Analyst you will serve as a member of the Sample Management group within the client environment to support their technical and analytical tasks, to work to the highest standards in terms of quality and professionalism.

Job Responsibilities that you be covering:

• As a Senior Sample Management Analyst you will manage samples throughout the laboratory lifecycle, including internal sample movement, external shipment for analysis, coordination of complex sample pulls, aliquoting activities, and reference material inventory management.
• You will respond to ad‑hoc requests for sample pulls and sample‑related information, support laboratory analytical personnel as required, and provide cover for other members of the PSS team to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.
• As a Senior Sample Management Analyst you will administer all sample‑related documentation, including receipt and review of external sample results and accurate entry onto LIMS, ensuring all records are completed on time, legibly, and in line with GMP and data integrity requirements.
• As a Senior Sample Management Analyst you will generate environmental monitoring and water analysis reports, deliver agreed quality and business metrics, and proactively identify and communicate opportunities for process improvement, optimisation, and operational efficiency.
• Maintain all documentation, systems, and training records in accordance with company, client, safety, housekeeping, and quality standards, initiating training where appropriate and escalating any deviations or discrepancies to management.
• You will work collaboratively with client personnel and suppliers to meet or exceed client requirements, ensure delivery against client processes and deliverables, and demonstrate flexibility to support any area of the business as required.
  
  

What skills, qualifications and experiences you will hold as a Sample Management Analyst:

• As a Senior Sample Management Analyst you will hold a third‑level qualification in a relevant scientific discipline, providing a strong foundation for laboratory operations.
• You will have demonstrated GMP experience within a regulated laboratory environment and understand the importance of compliance and data integrity.
• As a Senior Sample Management Analyst you will be a strong team player, able to work collaboratively across departments to support business and client needs.
• As a Senior Sample Management Analyst you will demonstrate effective communication skills, engaging confidently and professionally with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Display a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring work is completed to the required quality and regulatory standards.
• You will demonstrate strong organisational and time‑management skills, maintaining an orderly workspace and effectively prioritising workload to meet deadlines.
