Job Description

The Senior Sales Manager – Leisure plays a crucial role in driving the sales strategy and achieving revenue targets within the leisure segment. This position demands a highly motivated individual with a strategic mindset and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with both clients and partners. The individual will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, securing new accounts, and managing existing relationships to maximize revenue growth. The Senior Sales Manager will work closely with marketing, operations, and other departments to ensure alignment with organizational objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of the leisure industry, as well as innovative selling approaches to adapt to the ever-evolving market demands. The successful candidate must be results-oriented and possess excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, to inspire a team and drive commercial success.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue goals in the leisure segment.
  • Identify and acquire new business opportunities to increase market share.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and industry partners.
  • Coordinate with marketing and operations teams for cohesive market strategies.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic planning.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance and progress to senior management.
  • Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals to achieve targets.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profitability for the company.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Manage the sales budget and optimize resource allocation for maximum efficiency.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to streamline the sales process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a sales management role within the leisure industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in sales roles.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing sales teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for effective client interactions.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and analysis.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.
