senior sales engineer

A leading Industrial Manufacturing company is actively recruiting a Senior Sales Engineer to be based in Dubai.

The main responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Deliver annual sales, order intake, and margin targets for the General Industry segment.
• Drive new business through structured prospecting, project tracking, and strategic account planning.
• Manage the territory via regular customer visits, site surveys, and technical/commercial meetings.
• Build strong relationships with consultants, end users, EPCs, OEMs, and distributors as a value-based solution partner.
• Provide technical sales support for process pumps, industrial water, and O&G-related applications.
• Execute pump selection, sizing, and system optimization using engineering and sizing tools.
• Prepare technically compliant and commercially competitive offers in line with pricing and sales policies.
• Support complex applications and tenders in coordination with product and competence teams.
• Act as the technical interface from pre-order through manufacturing, delivery, installation, and commissioning.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through cross-functional coordination, accurate SAP/CRM reporting, and continuous improvement.

To be successful you will need to meet the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in technical sales or application engineering within the pump industry or industrial process equipment.
• Strong knowledge of General Industry pumping systems and industrial applications.
• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance technical solutions and profitability.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in SAP/ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and pump sizing software.
• Valid UAE driving license is required.
