Job Description

The Senior Sales Associate (Arabic Speaker) is a pivotal role within our retail operations, tasked with fostering relationships with Arabic-speaking clientele and driving sales performance. In this position, you will leverage your language skills and cultural insights to connect with customers, ensuring they enjoy a seamless shopping experience tailored to their preferences. Your role will not only involve direct sales but also involve training junior staff, setting the benchmark for customer service, and developing strategies to enhance sales performance. Working closely with store management and marketing teams, the Senior Sales Associate contributes to maintaining the store's high standards while meeting and exceeding sales targets. This role requires a proactive, customer-focused individual capable of multitasking and managing diverse responsibilities in a dynamic retail environment.


Responsibilities

  • Engage with Arabic-speaking customers to provide tailored product recommendations and services.
  • Achieve and exceed personal and store sales targets on a consistent basis.
  • Train and mentor junior associates to ensure high levels of customer service.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of product lines to effectively assist customers.
  • Collaborate with store management to develop and implement sales strategies.
  • Ensure the store maintains a high standard of visual merchandising and organization.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a professional manner.
  • Participate in inventory control and management to optimize stock levels.
  • Prepare sales reports and performance analysis for management review.
  • Assist in marketing and promotional activities to drive store traffic.
  • Develop strong relationships with repeat customers to foster loyalty and retention.
  • Stay updated on industry trends to provide customers with valuable insights.

Requirements

  • Fluency in Arabic and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven experience in a sales role, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Strong understanding of customer service principles and practices.
  • Ability to train and lead teams to achieve sales objectives and support growth.
  • Proficient in using sales and point-of-sale software for efficient transactions.
  • Flexible working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
