Job Description

The role reporting to the Head of Financial Institutions will have the following responsibilities:

  • Lead and support origination activities across FI, NBFI and SWF client segments.
  • Manage client relationships, take responsibility for specific client accounts and contribute to regional revenue objectives.
  • Prepare and deliver marketing materials, pitchbooks, term sheets, transaction summaries and externally facing documentation.
  • Structure financing solutions in collaboration with product partners across corporate finance, capital markets and other specialist teams.
  • Support the execution of live transactions including due diligence, financial analysis, internal processes and compliance requirements.
  • Conduct market and client research, attend client meetings and represent the team at relevant industry events and presentations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders across regional coverage, credit, legal, operations and global teams.
  • Train and support junior colleagues as required, helping manage workstreams and ensuring adherence to internal procedures.
  • Manage multiple tasks under tight timelines while coordinating across departments and regions.

The Successful Applicant

The candidate should have the following:

  • 8-12 years experience in Financial Institutions Coverage at a leading bank
  • Degree‑educated, ideally with a postgraduate qualification; CFA preferred.
  • Strong understanding of FI, NBFI and sovereign wealth clients, including market dynamics and product sets relevant to these segments.
  • Deep knowledge of banking products, FI credit, structuring and documentation requirements.
  • Excellent financial modelling, numerical and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to prepare high‑quality pitch materials and manage origination pipelines.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, juggle multiple priorities and operate effectively within small, dynamic teams.
  • Collaborative mindset with experience coordinating internationally across different functions and levels of seniority.
