Job Description

A Senior Relations Manager is a key figure in managing and nurturing client relationships to ensure mutual satisfaction and long-term collaboration. The Senior Relations Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining strong partnerships with clients, identifying opportunities for growth, and ensuring that their organization’s services align with client expectations. This role often requires collaboration with different departments to implement client feedback and drive improvements in service delivery. The ideal candidate for this position is adept at conflict resolution, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and possesses a deep understanding of customer relationship management dynamics.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients to ensure retention.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between clients and the organization, addressing concerns.
  • Identify new business opportunities with existing clients and pitch relevant solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client requests are addressed effectively and promptly.
  • Conduct regular reviews with clients to assess satisfaction and explore further potential needs.
  • Create and execute strategic account plans tailored to meet client objectives and goals.
  • Monitor industry trends and provide insights to clients on how to capitalize on new opportunities.
  • Prepare accurate and timely reports on client status, progress, and feedback for management.
  • Lead conflict resolution efforts to smooth over issues that may arise with clients.
  • Negotiate and renew client contracts to maintain mutually beneficial terms of service.
  • Ensure high levels of performance from both internal teams and clients in joint ventures.
  • Travel to client sites as needed to strengthen relationships and facilitate meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field required.
  • Five or more years of experience in client relationship management or a similar role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple client accounts simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey ideas clearly.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and respond to client needs effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve goals.
  • Experience with CRM software and other related business intelligence tools preferred.
