Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor specialized in Civil projects to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of construction projects, ensuring cost control, and managing budgets effectively.

Job Responsibility

• Prepare and review project cost estimates, budgets, and schedules
• Monitor project progress and financial performance
• Conduct on-site visits and assessments to ensure cost accuracy
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for cost-effective deals
• Provide expertise on contractual matters and dispute resolution
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success
  
  

• UAE/MOFA attested Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in Civil projects
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost control, and budget management
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
• Certification or membership in professional organizations is a plus
  
  

• Proficiency in quantity surveying techniques and methodology
• Experience in cost estimation, budgeting, and forecasting for construction projects
• Ability to review and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills for dealing with clients, contractors, and stakeholders
• Proficient in using relevant software and tools for quantity surveying such as CostX, Bluebeam, or BIM software
• Attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and calculations
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and building codes related to quantity surveying and construction industry
