Senior Quality Engineer - MEP Electrical

Role Purpose

To lead quality assurance and control activities on assigned Innovo MEP projects, mentoring junior quality engineers and inspectors and ensuring robust implementation of the project quality plan. 

Quality Leadership 

• Lead implementation of the project quality plan and ITPs across MEP disciplines. 
• Conduct internal quality audits across site work fronts and report findings to the Quality Manager. 

NCR Management 

• Lead investigation and close-out of significant non-conformances. 
• Analyse recurring NCR trends and propose corrective and preventive actions to site teams. 

Mentoring 

• Mentor Quality Engineers and Inspectors on inspection and documentation standards. 
• Conduct toolbox talks and refresher training on quality procedures and inspection checklists. 

Inspection & Documentation 

• Review inspection requests and test reports for completeness prior to consultant submission. 
• Maintain quality records and ensure traceability of material certificates and test results. 

Process Improvement 

• Recommend updates to quality procedures and ITPs based on lessons learned from site execution. 
• Support rollout of quality management system improvements across assigned projects.

• Introduce modern tools, technologies and processes that improve efficiency and transparency. 
• Encourage innovative thinking to enhance outcomes and reduce costs without compromising quality. 

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering 
• Minimum 6–8 years of quality engineering experience in MEP construction 
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and quality assurance principles. 
• Experience preparing and implementing Project Quality Plans, ITPs, method statements, inspection checklists, and quality procedures. 
• Experience reviewing inspection requests, material submittals, test reports, commissioning records, and quality documentation. 
• Strong experience in NCR management, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive actions. 
• Ability to prepare quality reports, audit reports, NCR logs, dashboards, and management summaries. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
