Job Description

The role of a Senior QA/QC Engineer is crucial in ensuring the highest quality standards for products and services across various industries. This position involves planning and overseeing quality assurance processes, from the inception of a project through to final delivery. The Senior QA/QC Engineer is responsible for implementing quality management systems and continuously adapting them to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Working closely with project managers, architects, and engineers, the Senior QA/QC Engineer ensures that all project specifications and regulatory requirements are met with precision. The aim is to enhance customer satisfaction by delivering products that meet or exceed expectations, minimizing defects, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality assurance methods to guarantee company standards.
  • Monitor compliance with quality procedures, standards, and specifications.
  • Design, develop and implement testing strategies for both new and existing systems.
  • Analyze data to determine trends or areas for improvement within processes.
  • Conduct internal audits and coordinate external audits for quality certification.
  • Collaborate with departments to ensure quality standards are maintained consistently.
  • Assist in the training and development of QA staff and process improvement initiatives.
  • Find and implement ways to prevent potential issues or defects in products.
  • Oversee the creation of thorough documentation for all phases of the quality process.
  • Resolve quality-related issues in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Work with suppliers to ensure that quality requirements are met and exceeded.
  • Participate in cross-functional team meetings to promote a quality mindset across projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in quality assurance or control engineering.
  • Proven experience in quality management system implementation and maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO standards and other industry regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with various quality assurance and control tools and methodologies.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams.
