This role demands deep expertise in airline fare filing, booking, ticketing, SSR messaging, and interline workflows across all major GDS platforms. The incumbent will design and execute test strategies, lead testing cycles for new product launches (such as Premium Economy cabin introduction), and ensure seamless interoperability between the airline's PSS, GDS platforms, and interline partner systems.<br><br>GDS Functionality Testing<br>•<span style="white-space:pre;">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Design and execute test cases for availability, fare display, pricing, booking, and ticketing across Amadeus, Sabre, and Travelport<br>•<span style="white-space:pre;">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Validate cabin mapping, booking class configuration, and inventory management in each GDS<br>•<span style="white-space:pre;">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Test Bargain Finder Max (BFM), Amadeus Fare Quote, and Travelport Universal API responses for correctness<br>•<span style="white-space:pre;">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Verify Branded Fares (ATPCO Category 204) display correctly with fare family attributes in GDS shopping results<br>•<span style="white-space:pre;">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Validate PNR construction including OSI/SSR generation, ticketing time limits, and queue placement<br>•<span style="white-space:pre;">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Test end-to-end e-ticket issuance including fare basis code, tax calculation, and baggage allowance display<br>Interline Functionality Testing<br>•<span style="white-space:pre;">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Test interline pricing — NUC construction, ROE application, Chart 2 currency mapping, and through fare build<br>•<span style="white-space:pre;">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Validate Category 10 combination rules for interline fare pairing across carriers<br>•<span style="white-space:pre;">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Verify SSR transmission (CBBW, CBBJ, SEAT, MEAL, FQTV) from originating carrier to operating carrier PNR<br>•<span style="white-space:pre;">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Test interline e-ticketing — verify coupon attribution, class of service, and fare basis per segment<br>•<span style="white-space:pre;">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Validate IATA prorate calculations and interline billing via BSP/ICH settlement reports<br>•<span style="white-space:pre;">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Test interline availability sell and inventory decrement on partner carrier systems<br>PSS &amp; DCS Integration Testing<br>•<span style="white-space:pre;">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Test cabin configuration in PSS (Amadeus Altéa, Sabre SynXis, SITA) including seat maps and boarding rules<br>•<span style="white-space:pre;">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Validate DCS check-in reads CBBW/CBBJ SSRs and applies correct baggage allowances<br>•<span style="white-space:pre;">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Test FFP/loyalty mileage accrual rates for new cabin configurations<br>•<span style="white-space:pre;">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Verify schedule change processing and queue management for affected bookings<br>Test Management &amp; Reporting<br>•<span style="white-space:pre;">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Design comprehensive test plans, test scripts, and traceability matrices for GDS implementations<br>•<span style="white-space:pre;">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Lead UAT sessions with reservations, ticketing, revenue management, and interline partner teams<br>•<span style="white-space:pre;">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Manage defect lifecycle — log, triage, track, and verify resolution of P1–P4 defects<br>•<span style="white-space:pre;">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Produce test summary reports with pass/fail metrics, defect trends, and go/no-go recommendations<br>•<span style="white-space:pre;">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Contribute to go-live readiness assessments and post-launch regression testing<br><br><br></div>
