Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer to join our growing technology team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, performance, security, and reliability of our systems across multiple projects. This position involves leading testing initiatives across the full software testing lifecycle, contributing to automation and performance frameworks, mentoring QA team members, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure products.

Qualification And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 5+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance, with significant exposure to automation, performance, and API testing.
• Proven experience owning and executing end-to-end testing activities, including test planning, estimation, execution, defect management, and test sign-off.
  
  

Job Description

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain manual, automated, performance, and security test cases across multiple projects.
• Own assigned parts of the end-to-end testing lifecycle, including test planning, estimation, execution, defect reporting, performance analysis, and test sign-off.
• Perform and guide functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing to ensure system reliability, scalability, and safety.
• Conduct performance and load testing using tools such as JMeter and k6, analyze results, identify bottlenecks, and collaborate with engineering teams for optimization.
• Contribute to test automation frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar tools, following established automation best practices.
• Perform and guide API testing and automation using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
• Execute basic to intermediate security testing (authentication, authorization, input validation, vulnerability checks) and collaborate with security teams when required.
• Validate data consistency and integrity using MySQL and Cassandra databases.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business teams to review requirements and ensure functional, performance, and security testability.
• Act as a quality advocate, ensuring quality, performance, and security considerations are addressed early in the SDLC.
• Review and enhance existing QA, automation, performance, and security testing processes, tools, and frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage.
• Analyze defects, perform root cause analysis, and work with teams to prevent functional, performance, and security defect recurrence.
• Mentor and support junior and mid-level QA engineers through test reviews, automation code reviews, performance test guidance, and best practices sharing.
• Actively contribute to C
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives) and help improve sprint-level quality and release readiness.I/CD pipelines, including automated test execution, performance test integration, reporting, and quality metrics.
• Regularly report testing progress, risks, performance insights, and quality metrics to the Lead QA.
  
  

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in manual testing, test design techniques, and execution.
• Advanced knowledge of test automation frameworks, automation strategy, and best practices.
• Hands-on experience in performance testing using JMeter, k6, including load, stress, and endurance testing.
• Solid understanding of security testing fundamentals and common vulnerabilities (OWASP concepts preferred).
• Strong hands-on experience with API testing and automation (Postman, REST Assured).
• Strong database validation skills using SQL (MySQL, Cassandra).
• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies.
• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban).
• Excellent analytical, debugging, performance analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
• Ability to work with complex systems, tight deadlines, and changing priorities.
