WE ARE LOOKING FOR Senior QA Engineer – Automation Testing

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer with strong hands-on experience in software quality assurance across complex environments, including cloud-based platforms and mobile applications (Android and iOS). This role involves executing comprehensive test activities, identifying and troubleshooting issues, and contributing to the stability and reliability of our solutions through robust validation techniques and automation practices.

You’ll work closely with product owners, developers, and stakeholders throughout the entire development lifecycle, from requirement analysis to post-release validation, ensuring our solutions meet both functional and non-functional expectations.

Design & Development

• Collaborate with the product team to understand requirements and define test parameters.
• Design and maintain test plans and customized test cases for cloud-based, web, desktop, and mobile applications.
• Execute manual and automated test cases and ensure traceability to requirements.
• Maintain test documentation, logs, and test result reports.
  
  

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or equivalent frameworks.
• Use Java, JavaScript, or Python to create and adapt reusable automation components.
• Work closely with DevOps to integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab).
• Perform regression, integration, and compatibility tests automatically and continuously across environments.
  
  

• Conduct quality assurance and performance testing of Android and iOS applications using real devices and emulators.
• Evaluate mobile app behavior under various conditions (e.g., low memory, poor connectivity).
• Check for issues such as memory leaks, responsiveness, excessive battery usage, and UI/UX inconsistencies.
• Understand the intricacies of mobile OS versions and hardware variations and adapt testing accordingly.
  
  

• Perform compatibility, performance, usability, and reliability testing where needed.
• Validate application behavior across multiple platforms and browsers.
• Simulate real-world usage scenarios to ensure robust user experiences.
  
  

• Work closely with developers and product teams to identify, track defects efficiently.
• Provide clear, concise issue reporting and status updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Deliver training or demos to product owners and business stakeholders when needed.
• Maintain clear QA documentation and actively contribute to continuous process improvements.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related field.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• 9+ years of experience in QA across various technologies and delivery models.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, test case design, and defect lifecycle.
• Proven experience testing mobile, web, and desktop applications.
• Skilled in using Jira, XRay, or similar QA and issue tracking tools.
• Solid hands-on experience with at least one automation tool/framework.
• Programming knowledge in Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Comfortable working independently and handling high-complexity tasks with minimal supervision.
