As a Senior Psychologist, you will provide a full range of psychological services Groupwide (Dubai based) in a Clinical context in a professional and quality manner, adhering to international standards and professional requirements. You will diagnose, evaluate and provide psychotherapy to support employees & family members in order to alleviate problems that affect employees wellbeing to improve overall productivity, safety & service.

In This Role, You Will

  • Conduct psychological evaluation as per international best practice in order to ensure that primary psychological stressors have been identified and the potential focus of therapy highlighted. Comprehensive psychological assessment will inform and guide therapeutic interventions with staff and family (where appropriate) to support improved psychosocial well-being and occupational functioning. This should be done adhering to professional ethics and standards.
  • Proactively develop and deliver workshops/trainings to all across the Group depending on the business requirement and an understanding of the business and its challenges. Support staff and managers facing challenges of continuous expansion, growth and business development.
  • Support the management of various businesses and HRBPs in implementing corporate change by counselling staff and developing appropriate workshops to cope with change, including exceptional instances counselling redundant staff and the survivors of redundancy, in order to minimize resistance to change.
  • Review processes within the section and recommend changes as appropriate in order to continuously improve the service to clients and to the Group. This can be done by contributing and leading projects and creating appropriate norms for tools used within the Group.
  • Research and benchmark international practices particularly in the area of Aviation Psychology, recommending appropriate adaptation in the company, keeping in mind the business needs and analysis.
  • Continuous learning and working on enhancing individual and corporate professional standards.
  • Recommend strategic methods such as techniques to identify and combat areas affecting safety e.g. Fatigue, sleep and stress etc. ensuring effective measures are being followed on par with international standards.
  • Research, assess, administer, and recommend the most appropriate psychological tests for psychological evaluation / workshops and training /counselling & psychotherapy leading to enhanced quality of selection and staff development.

Qualification

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements:

  • A minimum of a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, with at least 8 years’ experience practicing as a registered Clinical Psychologist.
  • A valid Dubai Health Authority (DHA) Professional License in Clinical Psychology.
  • Extensive experience in providing psychological assessment and treatment services to adult populations.
  • Skills in Clinical Psychology, Psychotherapy, Psychometric Assessment, Mental Health Risk Assessment/Management, MDT Functioning)

Youll Have An Edge If You Have

  • Practical knowledge of the Gulf culture and international code of social conduct.
  • Experience in Aviation Psychology
