Commvault Senior Project Manager is a pivotal role responsible for the successful delivery of complex, high-value customer projects across their primary region and, where required, across multiple countries within the territory. This role carries full accountability for delivery excellence, commercial performance, customer satisfaction, and strategic engagement outcomes.

In addition to ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, the Senior Project Manager provides senior-level oversight across project portfolios, mentors Project Managers, and acts as a trusted advisor to customers and internal stakeholders.

Customer satisfaction is vital. This individual works closely with Sales, Professional Services leadership, PMO/Operations, and Service Delivery leaders to ensure engagements are executed in line with signed design documents, contractual commitments, and margin expectations.

The role is critical to the growth of regional Professional Services revenue, Software revenue, and the overall success of Commvault.

What You Will Do

Integration Management

• Owns the creation and governance of Project Initiation Documents (PID) and Project Execution Strategies
• Leads executive-level stakeholder management and governance forums
• Acts as senior escalation point for delivery, commercial, and customer issues
• Uses advanced project planning and reporting tools to manage delivery across portfolios
  
  

Scope Management

• Defines and governs clear, unambiguous project scope
• Structures complex initiatives into phased or modular delivery models
• Owns formal change control and commercial impact assessment processes
  
  

Time Management

• Develops and controls integrated, dependency-driven project schedules
• Manages complex cross-functional and cross-regional dependencies
• Proactively identifies and mitigates schedule risks
  
  

Cost Management

• Owns full financial accountability for assigned projects and portfolios
• Manages budgets, forecasts, utilisation, and margin performance
• Advises on appropriate contract models including Time & Materials and Fixed Price
  
  

Quality Management

• Ensures delivered solutions meet customer business requirements
• Drives continuous improvement through lessons learned and best practices
• Contributes to Professional Services quality standards and frameworks
  
  

Managing Projects & Leadership Responsibilities

• Manages Tier 1 enterprise and strategic customer projects
• Provides executive-level reporting and forward-looking delivery insight
• Mentors and coaches Project Managers
• Acts as trusted senior advisor to customers throughout engagement lifecycle
  
  

Who You Are

• 8+ years of project management experience within IT, Software, or SaaS environments
• Proven experience delivering complex enterprise-scale projects
• Strong customer-facing and executive communication skills
• Advanced commercial and financial acumen
• Experience mentoring or leading Project Managers
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferred
• Experience working across UAE regions
• Fluent English Language skills. Arabic Language skills desirable
