About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a large-scale operations transformation and technology modernization program within a leading international organization. This role sits within a broader enterprise transformation initiative and is responsible for managing a dedicated workstream supporting the migration of operational capabilities from legacy platforms to a modern enterprise solution. The Project Manager will work closely with operational and technical teams to coordinate activities, manage dependencies, and support the successful delivery of the wider program objectives.

The successful candidate will be comfortable operating within a multi-stream environment, collaborating with parallel project teams and external vendors while ensuring that operational requirements are effectively represented throughout the delivery lifecycle. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager with experience in enterprise system migrations and operational transformation who enjoys working at the intersection of business operations and technology delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Workstream Project Management

  • Manage a dedicated workstream within a larger transformation program.
  • Coordinate the migration of operational functions from legacy systems into a unified enterprise platform.
  • Support project planning, governance, status reporting, risk tracking, and dependency management across the assigned workstream.
  • Collaborate with adjacent workstreams to ensure delivery activities remain aligned with the overall program roadmap.
  • Facilitate the successful transition of users, processes, and operational capabilities onto the target platform.

Operations Transformation

  • Support the migration of key operational functions, including:
    • Helpline Services
    • Pre-certification Processes
    • Claims Processing
    • Direct Billing
    • Reimbursement
    • Policy Administration
    • International Health Insurance operational processes
  • Ensure operational requirements are clearly understood and reflected throughout project delivery.
  • Support the adoption of new processes and ways of working while maintaining business continuity.
Business & Technology Coordination

  • Act as a key link between operational teams and technology delivery teams.
  • Work closely with technical specialists responsible for data integration, reporting, platform enhancements, and vendor-delivered solutions.
  • Coordinate cross-functional inputs and help manage dependencies across multiple workstreams.
  • Support the alignment of business needs with technical delivery activities.

Defect & Issue Management

  • Coordinate defect and issue management activities across the workstream.
  • Ensure operational requirements are represented during testing and validation activities.
  • Support the tracking, prioritization, and resolution of system and process issues.
  • Help ensure that system performance and usability align with operational expectations.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Build effective working relationships with operational teams, business users, technical delivery teams, and external partners.
  • Facilitate workshops, project meetings, and regular progress updates.
  • Ensure communication remains clear across all functions involved in the transformation program.
  • Support collaboration across parallel initiatives and vendor-delivered components.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager supporting business and technology transformation initiatives.
  • Experience working on enterprise platform migrations or legacy system modernization programs.
  • Strong understanding of operational process transformation.
  • Experience working within multi-stream programs with complex dependencies.
  • Ability to coordinate activities across business and technology teams.
  • Experience with project governance, reporting, risk management, and dependency tracking.
  • Experience supporting testing, operational readiness, and transition activities.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience within the insurance or financial services sector.
  • Exposure to health insurance operations, claims processing, policy administration, billing, or reimbursement functions.
  • Experience working within large international organizations or consulting environments.
  • Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
  • Project Management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile are advantageous.
