Job Description

The Senior Project Manager is a crucial leadership position responsible for orchestrating complex projects from inception to successful completion. Serving as a bridge between strategic objectives and actual deliverables, the role requires an individual adept at steering project teams, managing resources, and ensuring timely delivery within defined constraints. Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects meeting business objectives successfully.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans outlining tasks, milestones, and required resources.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Monitor project progress continuously and make adjustments as necessary for alignment.
  • Manage project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and within forecasted limits.
  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks to minimize potential adverse impacts.
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings, ensuring alignment on project deliverables and timelines.
  • Ensure project documentation is complete, accurate, and maintained consistently.
  • Implement best practices in project management for process improvement and efficiency.
  • Resolve conflicts within the project team and mediate issues with stakeholders effectively.
  • Evaluate project performance post-completion to derive lessons for future enhancements.
  • Mentor and coach junior project managers to develop their project management skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, project management, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Proven leadership capability in managing diverse and multi-disciplinary project teams.
  • Experience with project management software such as Microsoft Project or similar tools.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification will be preferred.
