To coordinate and control maintenance resource readiness for aircraft Base Maintenance events by ensuring manpower, materials, tooling, facilities, and operational support requirements are available to execute approved maintenance plans efficiently and achieve planned turnaround times (TAT).
Key Responsibilities
Coordinates maintenance resource requirements for scheduled aircraft maintenance events, ensuring manpower, materials, tooling, facilities, and support services are available to support maintenance readiness prior to aircraft induction.
Develops and maintains manpower and contractor allocation plans based on approved maintenance schedules, resource demand forecasts, technician qualifications, availability, leave plans, training commitments, and operational priorities.
Reviews resource requirements and coordinates with Production, Workshops, Logistics, Supply Chain, Human Resources, and other stakeholders to resolve resource constraints impacting maintenance execution.
Develops and maintains maintenance readiness dashboards and planning controls covering manpower capacity, material availability, tooling readiness, facility constraints, engineering queries, deferred tasks, and unresolved findings that may impact maintenance progress.
Monitors critical path resource requirements, including manpower, materials, tooling, and facilities, and coordinate mitigation actions where resource constraints may impact maintenance schedules or aircraft delivery targets.
Monitors newly raised defects and findings and coordinate resource impact assessments, escalation, and recovery actions where aircraft delivery targets may be affected.
Supports bay capacity planning by coordinating hangar utilization, aircraft positioning, maintenance resource allocation, and contractor deployment to maximize operational efficiency.
Supports maintenance readiness reviews and provides resource status updates, readiness assessments, and operational risk reports to Production Planning, Base Maintenance Management, and other stakeholders.
Coordinates paperless maintenance initiatives and supports resource readiness requirements associated with digital maintenance processes while ensuring compliance with company procedures, regulatory requirements, safety standards, and Safety Management System (SMS) principles.
Analyses resource utilization, manpower productivity, contractor performance, and operational trends to identify improvement opportunities and support continuous enhancement of maintenance readiness, resource planning, and aircraft turnaround performance.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree (3+ years)
Degree in Aviation, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, Engineering, or related discipline
Fluent in English
Experience in aircraft base maintenance, maintenance operations, production planning support, maintenance control, or maintenance coordination environments. Experience monitoring maintenance work packages, manpower utilization, material readiness, and operational performance. Experience working within a paperless maintenance environment and supporting digital maintenance execution processes. Experience coordinating across multiple operational departments to resolve maintenance constraints and improve workflow efficiency.
AMOS, Microsoft Suite of tools, Power BI/Tableau and/or equivalent maintenance management systems.
Years with qualifications: 4 - 6 years
Project Management, Resource Planning, Lean Six Sigma related certification advantageous
Aircraft Maintenance License advantageous
